Don’t worry, he didn’t fall.

As someone with a lifelong fear of heights and little upper arm strength, I’m impressed by anyone who climbs walls for fun. I’m doubly impressed by people who can climb walls and pose for photos, so of course I said yes when asked to shoot engagement photos at a climbing gym.

The shoot took place at Movement Gym Crystal City in Arlington, VA. Before scaling any walls, we got some shots on the ground.

And then it was time to climb! I got on the third step of a ladder, which is about as adventurous as it gets for me.

I mean, come on, Spiderman kisses?!

If anyone else is brave enough to kiss their fiancee while upside down in a bouldering cave, let me know, because I’d love to return for round 2!
